The relationship between Disability Assist Dog and owner helps to overcome physical, emotional and social challenges.What is the Perfect Partners Assistance Dogs Trust?Perfect Partners is a charitable trust that was established to provide trained Disability Assist Dogs for New Zealanders.The Trust was established in memory of Bradley, a Seizure Alert dog who opened up the world for his human partner, as well as inspiring and educating people in America, Australia, and New Zealand about the freedom and unconditional love that trained Disability Assist Dogs can provide for people who are challenged by a disability. Perfect Partners follows international standards that have been established by the International Association of Assistance Dog Partners (IAADP) and Assistance Dogs International Inc. (ADI). These standards provide a minimum standard of training that ensures public safety. Through these minimum standards it is also expected that the dog will be able to perform the required tasks with a minimum of stress. Perfect Partners is registered as a Charitable Trust, and is registered with the Charities Commission. Since 2008 Perfect Partners has been a member of the New Zealand Companion Animal Council.
